Juliann is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) and Licensed Midwife (LM) in South Carolina, providing holistic, compassionate care for women throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. My career began with aspirations in pre-med to become an OBGYN, but I soon realized that midwifery would allow me to approach healthcare in a way that resonated deeply with my values. I went on to study midwifery for a decade, immersing myself in both formal education and clinical apprenticeships with experienced midwives.
Alongside my midwifery work, I have over a decade of experience as a paramedic in emergency medical services (EMS). This experience gives me a unique perspective and skill set for handling out-of-hospital emergencies. This diverse background supports my commitment to safe, informed, and empowering birthing experiences.
Most recently, I completed PhD degrees in Holistic Medicine and Clinical Herbalism, allowing me to expand my practice into fertility holistic health consulting. I am grateful to share this journey with my supportive husband and our two children, both born at home, who continue to inspire my work in every way.

Emily is a stay-at-home mom who is passionate about helping other local moms feel more confident by connecting them with resources that provide information on everything birth—and baby-related. She currently serves as the Love Your Birth! Treasurer and Secretary and Juliann’s Office Manager at Little Orchids. Emily would like to start teaching childbirth education classes in the next year. When she isn't chasing her toddler around, she enjoys trying new local restaurants and traveling!
